Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) Application Request Form

OWI has partnered with  Clark County and the Department of Commerce to provide rental assistance through community services grant funding. The ERAP program is set to launch on August 24th and will end in December or until funding runs out. During this time, OWIES will provide applications to households in need upon request.  To request the application please complete the Application Request form below. We will respond within 3-5 business days. There is no guarantee that you will receive funding. 

Please keep in mind that this organization is 100% volunteer-based. We understand that this a stressful time. Please treat our volunteers with the respect that you would like to be treated with. 


Be sure to read the Eligibility Requirements before you request an application. 

Eligibility Requirements
  1. Current income must be less than 50% area median income (see income table below), AND

  2. Have at least one month of partially or fully unpaid rent since March 2020, AND

  3. Have at least one household member meet one of the below self-certified screening criteria:

    • Rent burdened: 50% or more of current monthly income is needed to pay rent, OR

    • Previously homeless within last five years. This includes experiences of couch surfing/double up, OR

    • Eviction history within last seven years, OR

    • Housing disrupted due to household member race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, or religion, OR

    • At risk of severe illness as per CDC (62 or older, underlying condition), OR

    • Disability of any household member. Includes a physical, developmental, mental, or emotional impairment, including impairment caused by alcohol or drug abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, or brain injury. A person with HIV/AIDS is considered disabled.
