  • Do you pay rent for a place to live in Vancouver, WA city limits?

  • Are you facing eviction because you're behind on your rent and utilities?

  • Are you living in a shelter, Safe Stay, or couch surfing? Do you need help with getting into more permanent housing?

 

We offer one-time emergency rental assistance to eligible clients to cover the cost of back rent and past-due utility costs (up to 12 months).  In some cases, assistance with security deposits and rental application fees may be available. If you need any of these services, please check the eligibility requirements, review the overview of our application process, and complete online pre-screening forms.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be requesting assistance for a residence that is within Vancouver, WA city limits

  • Cannot have a household income that exceeds 50% of the AMI for its size

Application Process

  1. Verify that your address is in Vancouver, WA.

  2. Complete the Client Pre-Screening Form

  3. Schedule an appointment with an Eviction Specialists

  4. Submit Requested Documents

  5. Complete your rental assistance application

  6. Schedule a home inspection

Please note that an inspection of the rental residence will be required before funds can be issued.

1. VERIFY YOUR ADDRESS.

 

Go to this https://www.cityofvancouver.us/about-vancouver/do-i-live-in-vancouver/ and search for your address. Only rental residences within Vancouver city limits are eligible for this program.

2. COMPLETE THE  CLIENT PRE-SCREENING FORM to SCHEDULE  an APPOINTMENT.

 

If you meet location and income requirements, the form will reroute you to our appointment booking page.  Please schedule an appointment with one of our

Eviction Prevention Specialists.

If you need special assistance, you can call and leave a message. An Eviction Prevention Specialist will call you back within 1-2 business days (may vary depending on volume of requests).
