WHAT IS THE WOMEN'S MOSAIC?

The Women's Mosaic is a show on KXRW radio station, hosted by Karen Morrison and Elizabeth Madrigal, focuses on amplifying the voices of women in our community and beyond. Through engaging interviews and discussions, the show highlights women's stories, explores opportunities and challenges, and critiques systemic biases. Topics include gender stereotyping, healthcare discrimination, poverty, relationships, and more. The show aims to educate, inspire, and support women, offering practical solutions and local resources while advocating for gender equity and celebrating women's resilience.

HOW IT STARTED?

Morrison and Madrigal first connected at a social justice event in Esther Short Park, which led to a strong friendship and extensive discussions. They soon realized they shared a deep commitment to improving women's social and legal status to boost their health, well-being, and life expectancy.

PURPOSE

The purpose of the Women's Mosaic Radio show is to open a space for experts, leaders, advocates, and trailblazers in their field to share their stories to educate and inspire.
