The Youth Truth Channel Interns will capture content and produce radio stories that are part interview/ part narration. Once trained, these interns can choose to create stories for one of these two paths:

• Youth Voices in Politics Radio Series: The Youth Voices in Politics Radio series consists of segments that are educational, highlight activism, and showcase advocacy groups, opportunities, and skills. Stories can range from what is happening in City Council and current events to what's on the ballot and foundational knowledge for civic engagement. 

• Youth Food Justice Alliance- Radio Documentary: The Youth Food Justice Alliance Radio Documentary follows a team of interns as they execute a food justice project from inception to implementation. 

This internship offers Youth Truth Channel interns free training, access to the radio station, a chance to broadcast their radio segments, and $17.15 per hour, plus a training completion bonus. We are looking for dedicated, creative, and driven interns, so the selection is somewhat competitive. The internship is open to young people ages 16-24.
