COMMUNITY  ENGAGEMENT

For nearly 20 years, OWI Education Services has been dedicated to strengthening communities through meaningful engagement, connection, and empowerment. From hosting community-building events to providing voter education and encouraging civic participation, we create welcoming spaces where individuals and families can access resources, build relationships, and make their voices heard. Through strong partnerships with local schools, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations, our outreach continues to foster connections that strengthen communities across Clark County.

Juneteenth is a federal holiday commemorating the liberation of the last African American slaves in Texas by Union soldiers in June of 1865. It marks the fulfillment of America's promise of liberty and justice for all citizens. This holiday symbolizes our collective journey towards freedom and unity, celebrating the shared history and intertwined backgrounds of all Americans.

VOTER EDUCATION

OWI Education Services uses their events and voter education campaigns in the Fall to mobilize and inform local voters about upcoming ballot dates and candidates. In 2026, our efforts will continue to mobilize marginalized voices to get them engaged with the vote.
