Exciting New Programs, Partnerships & Projects in 2024
Environmental Justice Coalition
Partner: Clark County
We assist in collecting data to drive new legislative solutions, supporting communities of color disproportionately affected by environmental toxins and climate change. (Feb-Dec)
4th Annual Women's Friendship Tea
We host a social gathering to increaser collaboration and networking opportunities for women in the area of Vancouver, WA . Prizes are available at this catered affair. (April 27th)
Partner: City of Vancouver, Share, Council for the Homeless
We assist income-eligible individuals and families access one-time aid to cover back rent and stave off eviction. (Mar-June 2025)
Youth Empowerment
Program
We will launch an 8- course cohesive youth empowerment program that includes field trips and workshops in partnership with various organizations (on hold)
Clark County Women's
Health Equity Study
Partner: SWACH
Student Researchers will analyze healthcare disparities and key issues affecting women in Clark County through qualitative and quantitative research. (Feb-Dec)
3rd Annual Juneteenth Freedom Celebration
Partner: City of Vancouver
We invite the city to celebrate the contributions of local Black artists, organizations, and youth scholars while supporting local businesses and services. providers. (June 15th)
Interstate Bridge Replacement
Community Response
Partner: Interstate Bridge Replacement Program
We co-facilitate info sessions to involve the local Black community in giving feedback on I-5 bridge repair plans.
BIPOC Women Breast Health Event
Partner: Pink Lemonade Project & Kearney Breast Center
We assist income-eligible, uninsured, BIPOC women to access free Breast exams, lunch and swag provided (Nov. 9th)
