3rd Annual Women Supporting Women's Friendship Tea

The Women’s Supporting Women’s Friendship Tea is a highly-inclusive, multigenerational gathering that hosts about 100 distinguished local women from diverse backgrounds.  This Spring, attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from Judge Banfield, the first Black woman judge in Clark County, as she delivers a powerful message on this topic: “The Importance of Female Friendships in Overcoming Gender Inequality”. The event will take place at The Red Cross Building at Fort Vancouver, 605 Barnes Street, Vancouver, Washington 98661, on April 22nd, 2023, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM

This is our 3rd year of hosting this community gathering which was organized with the sole purpose to uplift Vancouver’s community of dynamic women.  As you may know, women make up over 58% of Vancouver’s labor force. Although women in Vancouver are increasingly joining sectors in high demand, disparities in income, employment opportunities, and advancement rates still persist.  To address the challenges posed by gender inequality both professionally and socially, women need every opportunity to connect with and encourage each other.  Please join us in the spirit of sisterhood to partake in tea exchanges, raffles, silent auctions and encouragement. 

All women are invited and included, just bring your favorite tea and your fanciest hat!
